Thanks to Everlane’s transparent pricing model, this ethically made leather-and-twill weekender costs a fraction of what it would at a traditional department store. Both the all-black and dipped versions are gender neutral and suited to a range of styles, and the size is just right for hauling all the stuff you’ll need for a short getaway while still fitting easily in the overhead compartment.
"My Calpak spinner totally converted me from a duffel-toting, backpack-wearing traveler to a serious fan of the hard-shell suitcase. And with the Wandr carry-on, Calpak solved my only qualm: there's an easy-access front pocket for my laptop and necessities. I see no reason to ever swap out my suitcase again." — Melanie Lieberman, Associate Digital Editor

Duffels advertised as “water resistant” are designed to keep your belongings protected from light rain and soggy ground. These models often cover their durable ripstop fabric with a laminate that keeps moisture from soaking in (often a DWR treatment or something similar). A DWR treatment certainly is a nice feature for everyone using a duffel: the weather is unpredictable when traveling, you never know when your duffel might be sitting on the tarmac for a few extra minutes, and it’s super helpful for outdoor use. In addition, some bags have flaps covering the zippers, which can be a point of weakness. Water resistant gear does have limitations: it should work well in light to moderate precipitation but eventually will soak through.
If you’re on the go, nothing slows you down faster than a clumsy travel bag. Rushing off to the airport? Trying to pack for an extended, multi-city business trip? Or maybe you just like putting your organizational skills to use? A good travel bag—sturdy, efficient, stylish—can be worth its weight in gold, more as a necessity than a mere accessory. Travel + Leisure editors deliberate carefully over which luggage sets are ideal for bringing on a vacation, and make sure to feature only the best that money can buy.
It’s surprisingly hard to decide what bag to use while packing for a weekend getaway or a quick three-day trip. You may attempt — to no avail — to stuff everything into a backpack to curb your overpacking tendencies. Or maybe you find rolling suitcases embarrassing, so you end up cramming too many things into a duffel bag that was clearly not made to hold so much stuff. What you need is a weekender bag.
Do you know what you’re looking for in a good piece of luggage? There are lots of factors to consider when choosing the right women’s luggage for your travels. Size is the most obvious feature to start with since you want to be sure that the luggage you choose will comfortably fit all of your items. ROXY provides a range of luggage sets and individual bags for you to choose from so that you can find the best match for you. Our selection includes everything from smaller women’s duffel bags to carry on size bags, all the way to larger travel bags for women. Along with size, durability is another important factor to consider when shopping for women’s luggage. You want to make sure that you have the best suitcase in terms of construction so that it can withstand the beating travel will inevitably inflict upon it. All of ROXY’s travel bags for women are made with highly durable materials so that you never have to worry about arriving to your destination to find all of your belongings exposed. We’ve got your packing needs covered so that you can focus more on picking the perfect destination.
Priced at $80, the Gregory Stash is an affordable duffel with an attractive design. We’ll start with the Stash’s simple zipper opening that extends the length of the duffel, which is not our preferred closure (U-shaped is better). The zipper does reach the end flaps, however, allowing the main compartment to expand up and out when packing and providing better access than other bags with similarly straight zip closures. You also get generous padding on the straps and a large outside pocket for valuables.

The oversize version of Madewell’s ever-popular Transport Tote has the same cool yet classic look but with plenty more space for your stuff and — at least for the canvas version — a lower price tag. The waxed finish is water resistant and gains a nice patina with age, and it’s lighter and more flexible than leather but still heavy duty enough to handle repeated overpacking.

I love my bag!!! This is a beautiful bag with quality workmanship. It comes with a large inside zipper compartment trimmed in leather, leather luggage tag, brass feet and tasteful logo stamp at bottom front of bag. The hardware is sturdy as well a nice looking. It looks more expensive than it is so its a real bargain. I love the leather smell also. The description only mentioned the cellphone pockets, pen and card holder so I got more than expected. The outer zipper is metal YKK with leather tab. It's roomy with enough space for a weekend rendezvous. I'm very pleased!!
